Digital showrooms on the Internet instead of visiting the car dealership –…
– FCA Germany brands respond to the Corona crisis with innovative solutions.
– Digital showrooms provide contactless information about the model range from Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Fiat and Jeep®.
– Product managers present vehicles. Retailers also offer online purchasing advice via video calls.
Even though car dealerships across Germany are currently keeping their showrooms closed due to the Corona crisis, Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Fiat and Jeep® continue to provide information about current offers in an innovative way - completely contactless and securely on the Internet. The FCA Germany brands offer so-called digital showrooms online. Here, the product managers present the most important features and equipment details of the brands' best-selling models in detailed videos.
Fiat is presenting most of its models in the online showroom using videos. The focus is on the new versions of the Fiat 500 and Fiat Panda with mild hybrid technology. Both boast a combined standard consumption of 4,1 liters and combined CO2 emissions of just 93 grams per kilometer. The Fiat 500 Hybrid and Fiat Panda Hybrid are currently available as a special "Launch Edition" model with particularly extensive standard equipment. Customers can also find videos on the 500X and Tipo models.

The highlight in Abarth's digital showroom is the Abarth 595 70° Anniversario, the 132 kW (180 hp) special model for the 70th anniversary of the legendary brand with the scorpion in its coat of arms. Alfa Romeo presents the Stelvio SUV model and the Giulia sports sedan. A separate short film is dedicated to the new high-performance variant Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm, which brings racing technology to the road with 397 kW (540 hp), body components made of carbon fiber and aluminum, bucket seats, harness belts and wheels with central locking.
At Jeep, the digital showroom is dedicated to the two top sellers Renegade and Compass and also takes a look in a short clip at the new electrified models Renegade 4xe and Jeep Compass 4xe, which are the most sustainable vehicles in the history of the US SUV legend thanks to plug-in hybrid technology. With the combination of a turbo gasoline engine to drive the front axle and an electric motor that drives the rear wheels, the system output of both models is 177 kW (240 hp). Up to 50 kilometers of purely electric range and less than 50 g/km CO2 in hybrid mode mean a lower environmental impact.
In addition, dealers of all FCA Germany brands - including the van specialists from Fiat Professional - also organize video calls over the Internet, in which a personal advisor answers questions, helps with the configuration of the desired vehicle and, if necessary, provides information about financing solutions. Contact with the dealer can be established using a PC, notebook, tablet or smartphone (iOS or Android based). A standard Internet browser is sufficient for online advice; no special software is required.
The service centers of Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Fiat Professional and Jeep are also open in times of Corona to ensure the mobility of their customers with repairs and maintenance services.
