FCA Bank SpA and I3P launch the “Digital Factory”…
– “Digital Factory” is a call from FCA Bank SpA and I3P, the incubator for innovative companies at the University of Turin, to submit innovative proposals with a view to the bank’s technological transformation process.
– Participation in the call for proposals is free for innovative start-ups and small and medium-sized enterprises. Submissions will be accepted until January 6, 2021.
– The winner will be able to develop a Proof-of-Concept (PoC), working side by side with the Italian FCA Bank SpA and the Group’s subsidiaries.
Research into innovations present in Italy and abroad, promote and implement new solutions through inventions in order to promote the technological and digital transformation of the banking sector: specifically for this purpose, the FCA Bank SpA and I3P, the incubator for innovative companies of the Polytechnic of Turin, the "Digital Factory" launched, a competition for innovative start-ups and small and medium-sized enterprises.
The "Digital Factory“ focuses on the development of Fintech and Insurtech solutions, payment processes, new insurance and financial risk assessment systems, alternative credit management methods, financing and microcredit products for the automotive finance industry using algorithms and innovative methods.
The focus is on creating automated and intelligent systems to analyze insurance and financial needs and to conduct GAP analyses in order to create customized offers for new and existing customers.
Participation in the application process is free of charge and applications can be uploaded on the website digitalfactory.fcabankgroup.com/en until January 6, 2021.
The projects will be evaluated by a panel of experts, which will select the finalists by 5 February 2021. The shortlisted candidates will be able to present their proposal at the closing event in February 2021.
The winner selected by the jury will then have the opportunity and the means to Develop proof-of-concept (PoC).to test and prove the feasibility of the project on the market and then to start cooperation with FCA Bank SpA and the Group's subsidiaries.
The call for proposals for the “Digital Factory“ in collaboration with I3P – part of the “Start&Pulse” program of Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance – is a further step in the digital transformation process of FCA Bank SpA, which aims on the one hand to improve the customer experience and on the other hand to create world-class banking and insurance products.
This process, which has been undertaken to innovate the entire banking sector, has already led to significant developments in digital payments, from e-wallet (the digital wallet that provides various means of payment) to the Payment Hubwhich will enable FCA Bank to manage the large number of transactions related to vehicle-related payment services.
